Booking Terms and Cancellation Policy

Written Quotation

Your final quotation identifies the route, travel dates, vehicle class, accommodation, room category, meals, inclusions, exclusions, taxes, payment schedule, and quote-validity period. Website prices are indicative until confirmed in writing.

Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed only after you accept the written quotation, pay the stated 25% to 30% advance, and receive a Tripmakes confirmation voucher. Pay only to beneficiary details supplied with that quotation.

Availability and Substitution

Hotel rooms, activities, train tickets, safaris, and permits remain subject to availability. Any necessary substitute will be discussed with you and confirmed in writing before it is accepted.

Changes and Cancellations

The cancellation schedule and any non-refundable hotel, ticket, permit, or activity amount are stated in the accepted quotation. Supplier charges already incurred may be deducted from a refund. Date changes are subject to fresh availability and rate differences.

Weather, Roads, and Attraction Access

Weather, forest rules, road closures, strikes, crowd controls, and government restrictions may require route changes. Tripmakes will offer a practical alternative where possible, but cannot guarantee access controlled by third parties.

Traveller Responsibilities

Travellers are responsible for accurate passenger details, valid identification, punctual reporting, health and mobility disclosures relevant to the itinerary, and personal belongings.
