A Mysore-first route is efficient when you can arrive there directly or reach the city early from Bengaluru. The palace, markets and selected landmarks deserve deliberate time; Coorg then needs at least one uninterrupted full day. We explain the trade-off between seeing more places and enjoying them properly.

Coordinate pickup with your real arrival. Choose a light city visit only when there is enough time; otherwise rest and begin fresh.
Day 2: Mysore heritage to Coorg
Visit Mysore Palace and compatible city sights, then depart early enough to reach Coorg comfortably.
Day 3: Coorg full day
Use one geographic circuit—Madikeri or Kushalnagar side—rather than criss-crossing the district.
Day 4: Second experience or departure
With an extra night, add the second circuit or property time. On a shorter plan, protect the return connection.
